The Treasury/Trust Investment Policy governs the investment of OST's state portfolios.
The State Treasurer, local governments in the state of Washington, and Washington institutions of higher education are authorized to invest in commercial paper and corporate notes purchased on the secondary markets (RCW 43.84.080, RCW 39.59.040, and RCW 28B.10.928), provided they adhere to the investment policies and procedures adopted by the Washington State Investment Board (WSIB).
