From the LGIP Administrator

The LGIP authorization forms are getting a much needed facelift. The process and the corresponding forms required to join the LGIP have not changed since the inception of the LGIP nearly 25 years ago. Over the years we have taken several positive steps to become more like the comparably managed funds regulated by the SEC, e.g., development of a formal investment policy, creation of the LGIP Advisory Committee, development of the LGIP CAFR, retaining an independent outside auditor. We are undertaking two more initiatives, the creation of a LGIP Prospectus and a revamping of the authorization process. The processes of joining the LGIP and making changes to your account are currently pretty informal. We are working with our attorney to create new forms and to make the processes more formal in an effort to provide another layer of protection for both OST and LGIP participants. We will be requiring all participants to fill out new paperwork along with a new resolution. We will be in further contact as this comes closer. Please let us know if you have any questions.
