Information Technology Staff Provide the Underpinnings for the Treasurer's Office Work
Efficient, effective, sophisticated, stable, and secure information technology tools and services play a central role in the successful operation of the Treasurer's Office. Our custom-developed Treasury Management System (TM$) integrates data across internal business functions, provides for data interfaces with state agencies and the financial industry, and presents a user-friendly web access for state and local government entities to centralized banking and treasury services. Information Services works with others throughout government as the state moves toward greater reliance on shared services across the entire state government enterprise. Their objectives are to:
- Provide ongoing professional support for the critical functions of the Treasury;
- Maintain and enhance an architecture used by all of state government that supports data and application sharing, connectivity, and security;
- Keep agency technology current and in alignment with the Information Services Board's (ISB) technology policies and standards; and
- Establish, maintain and test procedures for timely, organized response to potential business interruptions so that vital financial services can be relied on by our customers.
